  • Publication number: 20220137028
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to in vitro methods for determining local tolerance. In some embodiments, the in vitro method is a miscibility test.

  • Publication number: 20120218217
Abstract: The present invention relates to the operation of a device having a graphical display operated by hand or using a stylus, characterized in that a graphical interaction is generated on said display analogous to the three-dimensional position of the hand or the stylus as soon as said hand or stylus is located in the immediate vicinity of said display. This concerns a system that supports the operator in manipulating graphical user interfaces in a three-dimensional form, such that an optical reaction takes place on the existing graphical application as soon as the operator approaches, said optical reaction reflecting an analogous function to the position of the finger or the stylus. The user interface reacts at the position where the finger of the user approaches, whereby the image curves, for example, as seen through a sphere. The closer the finger, the stronger is the effect, until finally contact with the surface executes the prescribed action.

  • Patent number: 8239161
Abstract: The present invention relates to a shaft encoder device, comprising magnetic sensor means designed to detect the magnetic field of a magnetic field generating means stationary with respect to the shaft, a light source, optical sensor means designed to detect light emitted from the light source and reflected or transmitted by an encoder disk stationary with respect to the shaft, and signal processing means designed to receive first data from the magnetic sensor means and second data from the optical sensor means, and to determine an angle of rotation of the shaft from the received first data and/or to determine the angle of rotation of the shaft from the received second data.

  • Patent number: 7200660
Abstract: Procedure to transmit data, especially data used to operate and observe a system in which a request to build up a transfer channel to a web server is sent from a web client, comprising the following properties: a message that demands a connection to build up a first transfer channel is sent to a web server from the system that needs to be watched or operated; this request stays open and thus creates a tunnel for data transfer between system and web server; at least one additional channel of transfer is generated while the web client requests connection between client and web server; the client establishes contact with the system via the data transfer tunnel in order to send and receive reference data bi-directionally.
