Abstract: A frame, suitable for a child's buggy, is provided for removably supporting a seat for a child in a plurality of angular positions, comprising a manually operable lateral mechanism which is adapted to support the seat whereby the seat is fixedly mountable in and releasable from the frame, the mechanism also providing adjustment of the seat to a desired fixed angular position in relation to the frame. The manually operable mechanism comprises a rotatable knob which allows a wedge or dove-tailed part thereof to be withdrawn from engagement with another part so that it can be rotated to a different angular position before being drawn back into engagement, when it is locked in position. To release the seat entirely, the knob is a rotated to a further position to withdraw a cooperating locking device so that the seat can be lifted from the dove-tailed part.

Abstract: A collapsible, stick-folding, lie-back push-chair including seat support members having back rest members and armrest members, the inclination of the back rest members being controlled by connector members slidable along armrest members and having locking means in the form of a spring loaded pin for engagement with a hole in the armrest members. In the fully reclined position, the back rest members, and thus the seat, lie substantially parallel with the ground, at an angle of 165.degree.-170.degree. to the horizontal.

Abstract: First and second legs (4 and 5) of a collapsible tripod (1) are pivoted to a third leg (6) and interconnected by two interpivoted bracing links (15 and 16).To swing the first and second legs (4 and 5) towards and away from the third leg (6), first and second tie members (24 and 25) extend, respectively, from the first and second legs (4 and 5) to an actuating member (18) which is movable longitudinally of the third leg (6).To prevent relative movement between the legs (4, 5 and 6), when the tripod (1) is in its extended condition, a control link (32) extends from the pivotal interconnection between the two bracing links (15 and 16) and the actuating member (18) and locking means (21) are provided for releasably locking the actuating means (18) to the third leg (6).
