  • Patent number: 11013972
Abstract: A tethered ring game and kit is disclosed comprising a tethered ring, means of attaching the tether to an overhead surface, and a novel bottle support apparatus configured and designed to hold and constrain an ordinary bottle in a substantially upright position. The bottle holder apparatus is fixated on a wall, post, or structure such that when a bottle is inserted and constrained, it is used in an eye-hand coordination game of chance involving a tethered ring and a bottle as the target. In practice, a ring, which is tethered and hanging from above in a position equidistant between the player and a bottle, is swung in a pendulum movement toward the bottle, which is constrained by the apparatus, in an endeavor to capture the ring over the top or neck of the bottle.

  • Publication number: 20210031084
Abstract: A tethered ring and bottle game apparatus and method which includes two basic elements that when combined and mounted to structures in practice are used in a game of chance and skill. The two elements are: an embodiment which supports a bottle either in a free state, cradled, or constrained in a substantially vertical position while fixated above ground level on a vertically erected structure; and an embodiment comprised of a ring and tether assembly having a ring of sufficient size to fit over a bottle opening and is attached, joined, or knotted on one end of a tether, while the other end of the tether is fixated to an overhead support at a position substantially above the bottle height and between the player and the bottle. In method, the ring is swung, tossed, or flipped in a pendulum type of movement relative to the overhead support; and in the direction of the bottle target in an endeavor to capture the ring around the upper proximity of the bottle opening and neck.

  • Patent number: 10232744
Abstract: A passenger seat is configured to adjust between an upright seating position and a lie-flat sleeping position, which includes one or more intermediate reclined seating positions, via independent rollers attached to the seat pan, or seat bottom, and to the backrest. As the passenger seat transitions between the upright seating position and the lie-flat sleeping position, guide channels set into the left and right frame rails direct the movement of the independent rollers through the guide channels and thereby control the angles of the seat pan and the backrest throughout the transition.

  • Patent number: 6089230
Abstract: An oxygen delivery unit (20) having a housing (22), a release plate (24), an oxygen generator (26), a respirator assembly (28), a release lanyard assembly (30), and an activation lanyard assembly (32) allows the use of generators (26) having longer operational times. The release plate (24) is flexible and has curled and uncurled positions, and the generator (26) is attached to the release plate (24) which is biased toward its uncurled position. The release lanyard assembly (30) engages the generator (26) to hold it in a stored position inside the housing (22). The release lanyard assembly (30) and the activation lanyard assembly (32) extend between the generator (26) and the respirator assembly (28), so that when an individual pulls the respirator assembly (28), the generator (26) is ignited and shifted to an activated position spaced apart from the housing wall (38). Bumper pads (52) engage the release plate (24) to dampen vibrations and inhibit noise when the generator (26) is in the activated position.
