Abstract: A playground apparatus, extended landing platform attachment, and method of retrofitting a playground structure comprises a slide having at least one inclined surface and a landing platform configured to be coupled to a base of the inclined surface of the slide. The landing platform may be positioned at the base of the slide to enable a user to slide onto the platform from the slide and to move across the platform away from the path of a subsequent user sliding down the inclined surface of the slide. The landing platform may also be configured to provide additional seating area and more points of accessibility to provide easier access to a disabled user using the playground apparatus.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a cover for enclosing a cast on a user's arm and/or a user's leg. The cover is generally comprised of a sheath and a first ring. The sheath has a first end and a second end. Proximate to the first end of the sheath is a finger sheath and a thumb sheath. The second end of the sheath has a first ring configured to frictionally engage the arm of the user and a first opening. The sheath is rolled around the first ring for easily putting on or taking off the cover.

Abstract: The invention broadly comprises a method for determining financial loss related to performance of an internetwork. The method correlates input information regarding performance of an internetwork to operations of a financial entity underwriting insurance premiums and bonds and translates the correlated input information into at least one operational risk for the entity. In some aspects, the internetwork is the Internet. The method gathers secondary external information other than directly from the internetwork, correlates the input and secondary external information, and translates the correlated input and secondary external information into at least one operational risk for the entity. For at least one subset and one peril, the method determines a spread in time and space of effects of the at least one anomaly and peril on the internetwork and on the at least one subset.
