The skeleton structure has a socket portion and the vertical portion extends from the socket portion to a transverse back plate.     Abstract: Existing optical transceiver modules employ flex circuits in order to achieve a predetermined between an optical centreline and a centreline of pins of the transceiver module. The present invention employs a lead frame to attach pins to a lower edge of circuit boards forming the transceiver module so that the circuit boards can be inserted vertically with respect to a surface upon which the transceiver module is to be mounted when in use.
