  • Publication number: 20230166178
Abstract: According to aspects of the present disclosure, there are provided methods and apparatus for providing a user characteristics determination module for use with a head-mountable display device, comprising: a biological characteristics handler to determine whether biological sensor data is indicative of a predefined biological characteristic of the user; and determination logic to determine and output a predefined response to the determined biological characteristic of the user.

    Applicant: HEWLETT-PACKARD DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, L.P.
Inventors: Yow-Wei Cheng, Peter Christian Peterson, Kaden Strand
  • Patent number: 11138086
Abstract: A computing system for collecting hardware performance data includes a number of programmable counters associated with a number of units of a computing device. The computing system further includes an assignment module executed by a processor to assign a plurality of interleaving groups of counters based on a user-defined priority list of parameters.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 28, 2015
Date of Patent: October 5, 2021
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
Inventors: Raphael Gay, Peter Christian Peterson, Finagnon Thierry Dossou, Jr.
  • Patent number: 10747366
Abstract: Example implementations relate to calibration data identification. For example, a non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising instructions that when executed cause a processor of a computing device to, in response to establishing a connection between the computing device and a first electronic device, request descriptor information of a second electronic device connected to the computing device via a universal serial bus (USB) interface of the computing device. The instructions when executed further cause the processor to identify calibration data of a third electronic device connected to the computing device based on the descriptor information and to control the first electronic device using the calibration data. The calibration data is stored at the second electronic device.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 23, 2015
Date of Patent: August 18, 2020
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
Inventors: Andrew Bodley, Lauren Domingo, Peter Christian Peterson, Ken Ogden
  • Patent number: 10698505
Abstract: In example implementations, a method executed by a processor is provided. The method receives a first pen input from first pen and a second pen input from a second pen. The first pen and the second pen interact with a single display. The first pen input and the second pen input are translated into a first output and a second output, respectively, that are executed by an application. The first output and the second output are sent to the application. The application executes the first output and the second output simultaneously.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: June 30, 2020
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
Inventors: Nathan Barr Nuber, Peter Christian Peterson
