The present disclosure provides for non-equiatomic alloys that exhibit excellent corrosion resistance at low pHs (e.g., about 1 pH) afforded by passive films. Alloys of the present disclosure include lightweight elements (LWEs) (e.g., Al, Si, and/or Ti) to produce lower-density austenitic alloys.
