  • Patent number: 11615885
Abstract: A wearable sensing device (100) for sensing one or more physiological signals of a subject, comprising: a sensor unit (200), including a housing, a connection receptacle (210) and electronic circuitry configured for acquiring one or more physiological signals received via the connection receptacle; a patch unit (300), including a connection plug (310) connected via conductive tracks (341) to a plurality of electrodes (342) configured for sensing the one or more physiological signals. The connection plug (310) is configured for being connectable with the connection receptacle (210) such that the one or more physiological signals sensed by the electrodes (342) are transmitted to the electronic circuitry of the sensor unit (200).

  • Publication number: 20170055903
Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods and devices relating to electrode holding arrangements for bioelectric use. An example electrode holding arrangement includes a piece of flexible material configured to be fixed to a body part and at least one electrode spring element. The at least one electrode spring element is created by cutting out a certain geometric profile from the piece of flexible material. When the piece of flexible material is fixed to the body part having a body tissue surface, and an electrode is attached to the at least one electrode spring element and is positioned on the body tissue surface so that the body tissue surface generates a first force that makes the electrode spring element protrude outside a horizontal plane of the piece of flexible material, the at least one electrode spring element generates a second force that presses the electrode against the body tissue surface.

  • Publication number: 20110180173
Abstract: The invention relates to a tapping channel (1) for draining iron and metal melts and liquid slags from metallurgical containers such as blast furnaces (2) and melt furnaces. The tapping channel (1) is formed by an outer pipe (3) and an inner pipe (4) disposed therein in an axially displaceable manner, wherein the outer pipe (3) is rigidly connected to the refractory lining (5) of the furnace (2) and wherein both pipes (3, 4) comprise a highly refractory material.

  • Publication number: 20110174804
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for interrupting and restoring the melt stream of iron and metal melts in melt channels, in particular tap hole channels, of blast furnaces and drainage channels of melt furnaces. The method is characterized by a transition of the melt stream in the melt channels to the solidified state through cooling so that the melt stream can be interrupted, and by a melting of the solidified melt and a restoration of the melt stream through heating, in particular for re-establishing tapping of blast furnaces.
