Publication number: 20240127012Abstract: A delivery portal, which may be at a loading dock, includes a sensor configured to detect a pallet, platform or stack of goods as it passes through the portal. A computer is programmed to receive information from the sensor and to identify the pallet based upon the information. The computer is further programmed to compare the identified pallet to a database to determine if the identified pallet should be passing through the portal. For example, the computer determines whether the pallet is being loaded onto the wrong truck or onto the right truck but in the wrong sequence. The sensor for detecting the pallet may be an RFID sensor reading an RFID tag on the pallets. The portal may be a loading dock. The database may indicate a sequence for loading a plurality of pallets including the identified pallet onto a truck at the loading dock.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 26, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: Peter Douglas Jackson, Jason Crawford Miller, Hisham Khalid A. Alshmmasi, Matthew Smith

Publication number: 20210321686Abstract: A device for removably fastening to a protective headwear to more safely permit nourishment includes a ring-shaped body and a membrane. The body has an outer surface and defines an inner opening. The outer surface of the body is mountable about a hole in the protective headwear such that the inner opening of the body at least partially overlaps with the hole. A membrane is connected to the body to substantially close the inner opening. At least one slit in said membrane to permit passage of a utensil through the membrane.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 20, 2020Publication date: October 21, 2021Inventor: Peter Crawford

Patent number: 11067539Abstract: A system for detecting the presence of a rail end in a rail of a railway track includes a support structure mountable to a component of a rail vehicle. At least one magnetic field generator is carried by the support structure to generate a remanent magnetic field in the rail. A sensor arrangement is carried by the support structure in spaced relationship to the magnetic field generator to detect magnetic flux leakage associated with the remanent magnetic field. The sensor arrangement includes at least one pair of longitudinally spaced sensors, each sensor generating a measured signal based on the magnetic flux leakage detected by that sensor. A signal processing module is responsive to the measured signals to calculate a differential signal from the measured signals of the sensors of the at least one pair of sensors. The differential signal is indicative of the presence of a rail end in the rail.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2015Date of Patent: July 20, 2021Assignee: Technological Resources Pty LtdInventors: Sid Hay, Peter Crawford, Izak Nieuwoudt

Patent number: 10857316Abstract: A vaporizer pen for heating and vaporizing a liquid product that is ingested by a user has an outer hollow tube with a proximal end and a distal end and an inner hollow tube within the outer hollow tube having a proximal end and a distal end. The inner tube defines a chamber inside. A mouthpiece abuts the proximal end of the outer hollow tube and an atomizing chamber is positioned within the outer hollow tube and abuts the distal end of the inner hollow tube. A porous stone has a proximal stone end and a distal stone end and is configured to retain the liquid product. The porous stone is positioned within the hollow inner tube and the distal stone end is in contact with the atomizing chamber. A heating element is in communication with the atomizing chamber and is constructed of a ceramic material.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2018Date of Patent: December 8, 2020Assignee: STONED FREE LLCInventors: Heidi Marks, Peter Crawford, James Schwartz
