  • Patent number: 11984781
Abstract: An electric machine includes a rotor rotatable about a rotational axis, by which an axial direction is defined, and a stator with stator windings, a coolant distributor space and a coolant collector space. The coolant distributor space communicates fluidically with the coolant collector space to cool the stator windings with a cooling duct. The stator includes stator teeth supporting the stator windings and protruding radially inward from a stator body of the stator. A stator groove is formed between two stator teeth which has a radially outer groove zone extending radially inward away from the stator body into a radially inner groove zone, the radially inner zone width of which is smaller than the radially outer zone width, when measured along the circumferential direction, of the radially outer groove zone. At least one stator winding is embedded, for thermal coupling, into an electrically insulating plastic arranged in the stator groove.

  • Publication number: 20240067104
Abstract: A mobile device mounting system includes a device case and a mount. The device case includes: an insert including a rectangular bore and defining a set of undercut sections about the rectangular bore; and a first set of magnetic elements arranged in a first pattern about the rectangular bore. The mount includes: a body; a polygonal boss extending from the body and configured to insert into the rectangular bore; a set of locking jaws arranged on the polygonal boss configured to transiently mate with the set of undercut sections to constrain the polygonal boss within the rectangular bore; and a second set of magnetic elements arranged in a second pattern about the polygonal boss and configured to transiently couple to the first set of magnetic elements to transiently retain the mount against the device case and to drive the set of locking jaws toward the set of undercut sections.

  • Publication number: 20220391996
Abstract: According to examples, a system for coordinating and managing potential volunteers (i.e., volunteer blood donors) is disclosed. The system may include may include a processor and a memory storing instructions. The processor, when executing the instructions, may cause the system to receive partner data from one or more of a local partner and a global partner and determine a donation need based on the partner data. The processor may also cause the system to identify a pool of volunteer donors based on the donation need, build an online campaign to increase the pool of volunteer donors, and coordinate the pool of volunteer donors with the local or global partners based at least in part on a machine learning (ML) technique.

  • Publication number: 20090047328
Abstract: Described are caffeine-based delivery vehicles. A first delivery vehicle is a malleable strip that dissolves in an oral cavity. Buccal absorption provides a prompt mental and physical stimulation for the user. The strips are formulated with beneficial ingredients comprising caffeine, taurine and/or nitric oxide. The strips are contained in a small crush-proof package for convenience. A second delivery vehicle is a gel. The gel provides a prompt and sustained effect. The sustained effect based on gastric absorption of ingested gel that does not absorb through contact with a user's oral cavity. A high viscosity of the gel enhances the buccal absorption. Like the strips, the gel is formulated with beneficial ingredients comprising caffeine, taurine and/or nitric oxide. The gel is contained in packages having an integrated, re-sealable straw.
