  • Patent number: 10627030
Abstract: A fluid connector for securing a length of flexible tubing to a barbed fluid fitting is disclosed. The flexible tubing extends along a longitudinal direction. The fluid connector includes a single piece clamping body have a plurality of generally cylindrical clamping members spaced apart along the longitudinal direction, and a clasp. The clamping body defines a circumferential opening, and is flexed to further open the circumferential opening and receive the length of the flexible tubing over the barbed fluid fitting within the clamping body. The clasp closes the clamping body by closing the circumferential opening after the length of the flexible tubing over the barbed fluid fitting is received within the clamping body to form a fluid tight connection between the flexible tubing and the barbed fluid fitting. A fluid system including the length of flexible tubing, the barbed fluid fitting, and the fluid connector is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10156307
Abstract: An integral button latch is formed for use in a female fluid connector housing. The button latch has a latch plate, a button actuator, and two or more cantilevered leg springs extending from beneath the actuation surface to interface with the connector housing. The latch plate, the button actuator, and the leg springs are all integrally formed. The leg springs bias the latch plate in a locked position and resist depression forces applied to either of the button actuator or the latch plate. By integrally forming the button latch structure, the cost associated with purchasing the springs, molding the lock latch, and the ensuing assembly of the three is significantly diminished.

  • Patent number: 10052473
Abstract: A fluid connector includes first and second fluid connector elements with respective first and second base portions. The first and second fluid connector elements each include a pair of extension portions extending from the respective first and second base portions. First and second face seal elements are respectively carried by the first and second base portions and are contained within the pair of extension portions of the associated fluid connector element. A locking coupling allows the first and second fluid connector elements to be coupled together with the face seal elements in facing and sealing engagement, and then rotated relative to one another and locked together to form a fluid tight joint between the face seal elements and a fluid flow path through the first and second face seal elements and the first and second fluid connector elements.
