  • Publication number: 20180207504
Abstract: A training device for a person to practice kicking including a stationary base, platform, kicking target, and means for measuring the kicking force. The base is configured to be supported on a supporting surface and configured to remain stationary against the supporting surface. The platform is disposed above the base, rotatably coupled to the base about a rotation axis, and configured to support a person on a top side of the platform. The kicking target coupled to the platform, spaced from the rotation axis, and disposed on the top side of the platform. The platform and person both rotate in a direction about the rotation axis relative to the base after the person applies a kicking force to the kicking target.

  • Publication number: 20160375334
Abstract: A portable training device to practice kicking a soccer ball, football or kicking target. The device includes a stationary base on a supporting surface and a platform coupled to the base. The platform is configured to hold one or two balls or kicking targets used for performing simulated kicks. The platform is capable of supporting a person or trainee with a plant foot placed on top of the platform's vertical axis of rotation. When the ball is kicked, the platform and ball rotate, with the kicker on top of the platform and the kicker's foot maintaining contact with the ball during the rotation around the vertical axis of rotation, whereby the platform uses a braking means to come to a gradual stop. A stabilizing means is coupled to the platform for the trainee to hold while kicking the ball or target.

  • Patent number: 9205317
Abstract: A training device to aid improving proper form and measuring directional accuracy when performing a training kicking. The device includes a base and a ball holder assembly coupled to the base. The ball holder assembly is configured to receive an attachable ball used for performing simulation kicks. A direction pointer is coupled either the ball holder assembly or the ball and is spaced from a direction template that is used to indicate a relative accuracy of the simulation kick. The device also includes a brake assembly that receives the direction pointer during the training kick to bring the ball holder assembly and the ball to a complete stop.

  • Patent number: 8998751
Abstract: A training device adapted to support a ball above a support surface for punting. The training device includes a base assembly adapted to be disposed on the support surface, and a ball support assembly coupled to the base assembly and adapted to contact the bottom of the ball from at least one side of the ball such that the ball is supported above the support surface for punting when the ball support assembly is in a support position.

  • Patent number: 4691473
Abstract: A circular plant mobile comprising a plant pot supporting ring and a hanging hoop that are pivotably related to one another and may be locked either in plant supporting position with the ring at right angles to the hoop or in a position in which the ring and the hoop lie in the same plane for storage or shipping, the lock being made more secure because it is secured against unlocking by the presence of the pot within the ring, and pot supporting brackets that may be hung from the ring to further increase support for a pot or to alter its location.

  • Patent number: 4444371
Abstract: A hanger assembly includes an L-shaped clip and a hanger member which slidably engages an elongate slot formed in one leg of the clip for support. The other leg of the clip is also apertured to permit attachment to support structure. A second L-shaped clip having a complementary slot in one leg may also be provided. The distance between the slot and the opposite leg in one clip is greater than the other so that the slots will be in alignment when the other legs are in an overlapping relation. The other leg of the second clip is also apertured so that when the other legs are in alignment a threaded fastener may pass through each for attachment to support structure.

  • Patent number: 4318651
Abstract: A fastener for use in plaster walls, ceilings, and the like to support a lamp or plant, includes a conventional screw of uniform diameter, a spring threaded over the screw, and a toggle with a screw threaded hole of large enough diameter to be threaded over the outer surface of the spring. The screw may be capable of engaging the threads in the toggle plate, although the diameter must be small enough so that the spring may be received between the threads of the lag screw and the threads of the hole in the toggle plate. The screw may be a lag screw, a machine screw thread, etc. The screw shank is full-sized, not reduced to receive the helical spring. The spring serves to connect the screw and the toggle plate by being threaded partially one into the other and has the capability of being bent resiliently so that toggle and screw are parallel to each other for insertion into a blind hole, after which the toggle springs back into position and the assembly is screwed together. The spring may be a plastic tube.

  • Patent number: 4109896
Abstract: A boat hoist has longitudinally spaced lifting beams together with winch and cable means for raising and lowering the beams simultaneously by manipulation of a single hand wheel to move a boat straight up and down, there being a scissors support for each beam to insure smooth action and uniform movement throughout the length of each beam. The arrangement is such that the hoist may be employed to free the feet of the main frame from the lake bottom at the end of a season preparatory to removing the hoist from the water.
