  • Publication number: 20250025019
Abstract: Disclosed is a video laryngoscope that automatically adjusts display of a portion of an acquired image. The video laryngoscope may detect patient anatomy and/or a tool present in an image captured by a camera of the video laryngoscope. Detection of patient anatomy and/or a tool may be performed via image recognition rules and/or machine learning (ML) models. Based at least on the detected tool(s), a portion of the acquired image may be selected for display. For example, a display region of an acquired image may be selected to include both detected patient anatomy and a portion of a detected tool. Display of the acquired images may be progressively adjusted as a detected tool moves toward or away from the patient anatomy, until a maximum or minimum display region is reached.

  • Patent number: 6789294
Abstract: The self-fastening handle assembly includes a carrier panel with an aperture. A base member has a central bore and a bottom surface. Fingers, which extend from the bottom surface of the base member, are in a first arrangement which has a diameter which is smaller than the diameter of the aperture and thereby capable of being routed therethrough. The fingers are expandable from the first arrangement to a second arrangement having a diameter greater than the diameter of the aperture. A spreader pin resides within the bore and within the fingers. The spreader pin is movable from a first position with the fingers at the first arrangement to a second position within the fingers to a second arrangement with the finger engaging surface in communication with the fingers. A handle, pivotally connected to the base member by a pivot; has an impact end which drives the spreader pin into the fingers upon rotation of the handle.

  • Patent number: 5784257
Abstract: A heatsink assembly with an adjustable retaining clip is provided. A heatsink member is retained in flush communication with an electronic device package by securing a retaining clip over the heatsink member into communication with the marginal portions of the electronic device package. An adjustment member is provided through the top wall of the retaining clip to adjustably control the pressure and tension of the flush communication between the heatsink member and the electronic device package. A channel in the heatsink member may be provided for recessed installation of the retaining clip to permit unrestricted installation of a fan on the top of the heatsink.

  • Patent number: 5397919
Abstract: A heat sink assembly adapted for use with an electronic device package such as a microprocessor having a grid array is shown having, in a first embodiment, a threaded base of a finned heat sink adapted to be received in a threaded bore of an adaptor which mounts onto the electronic device package. Desired thermal coupling is achieved by screwing down the heat sink in biasing engagement with the package. Alternate embodiments show the heat sink which has a snap on flange to attach the heat sink to the adaptor and the adaptor extending down to engage with the socket in which the microprocessor is installed.
