    Abstract: A golf club measuring device has clamping means for retaining a head of a golf club in a fixed reference position and measuring means for measuring the loft and/or lie of the club. The clamping means comprise a first jaw for clamping a striking face of the club head against a first reference surface and a second jaw for clamping a sole of the club head against a second reference surface. The device is conveniently designed to be able to measure the loft and/or lie of both right- and left-handed golf clubs.
