If a previous call/message was rejected by a user of a terminal, the processor causes the ringer to decrease the volume of a subsequent call/message sent from the user of the electronic device.

Abstract: Aspects of the invention are directed to using subtitles for purposes other than viewing them on a display screen overlaid on the sub-title's corresponding content. While watching television with sub-titles activated, a terminal user may be offered a short-cut and/or one or more options which will use a current (or recently occurring) subtitle for other purposes. A user may be given an opportunity to use the subtitle text for sending the subtitle as message, storing the subtitle as a calendar note, etc. In accordance with another embodiment, subtitles of media content running in the background on a media content receiver terminal may be scanned based on configurable criteria input by a user. If there is a match, the user will be notified via an alarm and may change to the media channel on which the match was found.

Abstract: A method for generating a contact group is disclosed. The method includes identifying a plurality of contact items being associated with a context, defining a contact group being associated with the context, wherein the contact group includes the plurality of contact items, and generating the defined contact group. A contact group generator for performing the method and an apparatus comprising such a contact group generator is also disclosed. The second list may comprise the bookmarked addresses accessed most recently by the user, which will often be those most frequently used. However, the second list may instead comprise the addresses most frequently accessed by the user. The list may further contain entries corresponding to network addresses accessed by the user typing in the address. The provision of a second, selective list of addresses allows a user to access a favourite network address without scrolling through large numbers of bookmarks.
