  • Patent number: 10087087
Abstract: A water distribution system having a dual use water treatment unit. The same water treatment unit can be used to treat water supplied from a fill port to a storage tank during a fill operation, as well as water leaving the storage tank for supply to one or more points of water use during a supply operation. When a diverter valve is in a fill position, water supplied to the fill port can flow through the diverter valve and to the water treatment unit for treatment then to the storage tank for storage. When the diverter valve is in a supply position, the water from the storage tank can be delivered using means for pressurizing water to the same treatment unit for treatment, then through the diverter valve and to a point of water use device.

  • Patent number: 10011541
Abstract: Olefins may be recovered from a methanol to olefins reactor effluent by initially feeding the effluent to an absorber demethanizer to contact the effluent with an absorbent to recover an overheads including methane and ethylene and a bottoms including the absorbent, ethylene, and ethane. The bottoms are separated to recover an ethylene fraction and an ethane fraction. The overheads are cooled and partially condensed in a first heat exchanger to a temperature of ?40° C. or greater. The resulting stream, or a portion thereof, may be further cooled and condensed via indirect heat exchange with a mixed refrigerant to a temperature of less than ?40° C. The non-condensed vapors are separated from the condensed liquids to form a liquid fraction and a methane fraction. The liquid fraction is fed to the absorber demethanizer as reflux, and the methane and ethane fractions combined to form the mixed refrigerant.

  • Publication number: 20160328553
Abstract: Facilities are provided herein for authenticating a user to use a processing device. A user predefines authenticators of one or more types and associates these with graphical images. Upon on attempt to activate the processing device, a graphical image, of the graphical images, is selected for presentation to the user. The selected graphical image is presented to the user, who then provides input to authenticate with the device. A determination is made as to whether the user is authenticated to use the device. The determination is made based on input received from the user and based further on the authenticator associated with the selected graphical image. Varying the selection of image(s), each associated with a predefined authenticator and authentication type, enables variability in the authenticator that is suitable for unlocking a device at a given time, providing greater security to the authentication process.
