Patent number: 8196260Abstract: A support system includes a frame member and a cover magnetically coupled to one another proximate an edge of the cover and in an aligned state. The cover is rotatable with respect to the frame member without any structural coupling therebetween while the frame member and cover remain substantially in the aligned state. A method of supporting a cover with respect to a frame includes magnetically attracting the cover and frame to each other proximate an edge of the cover.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2010Date of Patent: June 12, 2012Inventor: Peter Danko

Patent number: 7951252Abstract: A method/apparatus closes and finishes an open end of a product that can be fused together with heat. The apparatus includes a bending stage, a fusing stage, and a pressing/cooling stage, which all can be integrally formed, with the bending stage positioned upstream of the fusing stage, and the pressing/cooling stage positioned downstream of the fusing stage. The apparatus can further include a trimming stage positioned upstream of the bending stage for preparing the ends of a panel. The product has a pair of spaced layers with edges that form an open end. Either one or both of the layers can be heated and rolled toward the other layer while being heated so that they contact and fuse together. The layers can overlap and fuse at their contact surfaces, or the edges can abut to form a butt joint, or the edges can overlap slightly.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2003Date of Patent: May 31, 2011Inventor: Peter Danko

Publication number: 20080021807Abstract: A trading appliance for an electronic trading system comprises a keypad into which is integrated a computer which communicates between the keypad and the trading system. The keypad has keys for entry of trade related data into the trading system. A retractable keyboard has keys for entry of non-trade related data into the trading system and may be retracted to a position within the keypad housing. A mouse is provided on the keypad. A display monitor may be connected the keypad for display of trading data received from the keypad and the trading system. A portion of the keypad, and an associated circuit boards may be detached and replaced by a keypad portion appropriate for trading a different instrument or on a different market.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 30, 2007Publication date: January 24, 2008Inventors: Peter Danko, Adam Schoenfeld, Robert Perez, Michael Grossman

Patent number: 4429012Abstract: A wood sheet-like product which comprises at least two sheets of wood and a pliable material bonded between the sheets. The wood and pliable material is bonded to form a unitary product and grooves through the wood sheets are spaced at intervals to facilitate bending of the product at the grooves. The sheet-like product is used to make wood honeycomb and corrugated wood by positioning grooves at predetermined locations on the product, bending the product into a certain configuration. In the case of honeycomb, adjacent strips of the product are adhered together in such a way as to form polygonal cells. To make corrugated wood one configuration has a series of high and low ridges secured to a facing skin. The methods of making the wood sheet-like product comprises inserting a pliable material between two sheets of wood bonding the sheets together and cutting a groove through the wood sheets but not through the pliable material.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 1981Date of Patent: January 31, 1984Inventor: Peter Danko
