The dongle includes a dongle processor programmed to communicate with the computer system via the communication interface to operate the radio transceiver to wirelessly communicate with one or more trigger devices, a radio transceiver coupled to the dongle processor, a communication interface coupled to the dongle processor and one or more contact communication terminals in communication with the dongle processor.

Abstract: A device and method of presenting information about goods and services to a targeted audience is disclosed. The disclosed device and method allow collecting associated marketing data. An exemplary handheld device equipped with a tag reader is described. The device and method are well suited for showrooms used by builders of homes, appliance vendors and the like. The marketing information, which is accessible by way of a communications network in an aggregated form, can greatly enhance the shopping experience for consumers, and improve marketing efficiency of builders, retailers and sellers.

The dust plugs are made continuously and automatically by feeding several weatherstrips having piles extending from rigid backing through a tool having side by side slots there through which extend from an anvil surface thereof. The backing strips rest on the surface in edge-to-edge relationship. An adhesive tape having a contact adhesive on one side thereof is fed synchronously with the pile weatherstripping in juxtaposition with the weatherstrips and in contact with the exposed sides of the backing strips. The dust plug material consists of the tape in contact with the weatherstrips and provides an assembly of the weatherstrips and the tape. Counter rotating puller belts engage dust plug material which may then be wound on a reel. For installation of the dust plug, the dust plug material is unwound from the reel and cut into dust plugs of desired length.

Abstract: A lightbox for display purposes, such as advertising, comprises a rigid back plate adapted to be secured to a support surface, a light source carried by the back plate, and a front fascia of clear plastics material which can be flexed and which is held in place in a curved attitude on the back plate by the engagement of fastening means between the fascia and back plate. The fascia comprises outer and inner panels which sandwich a photographic transparency therebetween. Flexing of the fascia for mounting on the back plate causes the two panels to come into area contact with the transparency. Release of the fascia from the back plate causes the panels to be loosened and enables the transparency to be removed.
