  • Publication number: 20020144389
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a bandlike-elongated, spring-elastic element (12) for supporting a rubber-elastic wiper strip (22) of a windshield wiper for vehicles, which element has two spring rails (26, 28), located with a spacing (24) from one another and essentially parallel to one another, which at least on both of their end portions are solidly joined together by transverse ribs (30) that are disposed on the one band face (14) of the spring rails and that span the spacing (24).

  • Publication number: 20020133897
Abstract: A wiper blade for cleaning motor vehicles is proposed, which is provided with a band-like, elongated, spring-elastic support element (12). The lower band surface (13) of the support element (12) oriented toward the window (22) has an elongated, rubber-elastic wiper strip (14), which can be placed against the window (22), disposed on it so that the longitudinal axes of these two parts are parallel and the upper band surface (11) of the support element (12) has a wind deflection strip (42) disposed on it, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the support element, is provided with an attack surface (54) oriented toward the main flow of the relative wind, and is comprised of an elastic material.

  • Publication number: 20020133894
Abstract: A wiper blade is proposed, which is used for cleaning windows, particularly of motor vehicles. The wiper blade (10) has an elongated, rubber-elastic wiper strip (14), which can be placed against the window (22) and is connected in a longitudinally parallel fashion to an elongated, spring-elastic support element (12), which has a connecting device (16) for a wiper arm (18).

  • Patent number: 6449797
Abstract: A device for pivotally connecting a wiper blade (12) for motor vehicle windows (10) to a wiper arm (14) which can be moved between reversal positions and is guided on the vehicle. On its free end section, the wiper arm (14) is provided with a pivot bolt extending essentially in the movement direction for connecting an elongated wiper blade, which has an elongated elastic support element (22) whose underside oriented toward the window has a wiper strip (20) disposed on it, which can be placed against the window (10), and the support element is provided with a transverse bore (68) that is open toward its top, whose opening width constitutes a narrow point (72) that is narrower than the bore diameter, wherein the edge regions of the narrow point can be elastically spread open to the size of the bore diameter.
