    Abstract: The invention pertains to a method for increasing the activity of chlorinated phenoxy herbicides by specially formulating said herbicides with a combination of solvent and selected surfactants. This method requires the use of alkylated fatty esters and an alkaline buffer. This unique combination of components has been seen to allow lower use rates of chlorinated phenoxy herbicides while also providing a stable formulation.
