  • Publication number: 20150207011
Abstract: The present disclosure provides thin film solar cell structures that can achieve dramatically improved power conversion efficiencies in relation to other thin film solar cell structures. The application of tandem solar cells composed of poly-crystalline Group II-VI (e.g., CdTe-based alloy) solar cells under low temperature deposition can achieve practical efficiencies above 25% in a low cost, high through-put, large area production environment. A poly-crystalline Group II-VI (e.g., CdTe-based alloy) solar cell can be deposited in tandem with a crystalline or multi-crystalline silicon p-type substrate with embedded n-type emitter on the deposition side of the substrate. This low temperature poly-crystalline/crystalline approach can allow for the development of a substantially efficient tandem solar cell produced in a relatively low cost, high through-put, large area production environment.

  • Publication number: 20110139249
Abstract: Solar cell structures formed using molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) that can achieve improved power efficiencies in relation to prior art thin film solar cell structures are provided. A reverse p-n junction solar cell device and methods for forming the reverse p-n junction solar cell device using MBE are described. A variety of n-p junction and reverse p-n junction solar cell devices and related methods of manufacturing are provided. N-intrinsic-p junction and reverse p-intrinsic-n junction solar cell devices are also described.

  • Patent number: 7257089
Abstract: A method and network that employs N attendant, messaging and content-based speech systems networked together to transfer call sessions via a VoIP bi-directional link. To enhance network performance, each of the N systems of the network includes an extension database having N city or system directories identifying the extensions and the names associated with such extensions. The caller is given a prompt to provide the network a city where the target resides. Thereafter, the network determines the target's extension by directly accessing the appropriate directory.

  • Publication number: 20040044515
Abstract: An automated natural language inference system that interprets KEYWORDS within a natural language stream to carry out a particular action inferred from such stream and, if necessary, queries the user for more KEYWORDS or natural language CONFIRMATION via a natural language dialog until an inferred action can be fired. The inference engine of the system populates rule TEMPLATES with different permutations of the KEYWORDS, constrained by word-to-slot size and the KEYWORD-to-slot number, to find a rule match. If more than one rule match is found, the rule with the highest priority is selected and fired.
