    Abstract: A fluid seal for sealing a joint between two components in a fluid line has an integral filter. The seal has sealing portions on each side of the filter that are compressed by relative axial movement of the components to effect a fluid-tight seal therebetween with the filter extending across the fluid line. The seal and filter are located in a central hole of a support plate with the seal bonded to the marginal edge of the hole.
