Patent number: 11963768Abstract: A continuous glucose monitoring system may utilize externally sourced information regarding the physiological state and ambient environment of its user for externally calibrating sensor glucose measurements. Externally sourced factory calibration information may be utilized, where the information is generated by comparing metrics obtained from the data used to generate the sensor's glucose sensing algorithm to similar data obtained from each batch of sensors to be used with the algorithm in the future. The output sensor glucose value of a glucose sensor may also be estimated by analytically optimizing input sensor signals to accurately correct for changes in sensitivity, run-in time, glucose current dips, and other variable sensor wear effects.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2022Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: MEDTRONIC MINIMED, INC.Inventors: Keith Nogueira, Peter Ajemba, Michael E. Patent number: 11950756Abstract: An endoscope system comprises an endoscope and a display to display image content captured by the endoscope. The endoscope system also comprises one or more sensors located in a headrest and configured to detect an input at the headrest. The endoscope system also comprises a control module configured to receive one or more sensor signals from the one or more sensors. The one or more sensor signals indicate movement of the headrest with respect to a support on which the headrest is mounted or pressure applied to the headrest. The control module is also configured to adjust the image content displayed by the display in response to the one or more sensor signals.Type: GrantFiled: January 7, 2021Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: INTUITIVE SURGICAL OPERATIONS, INC.Inventors: Peter M. Patent number: 11918490Abstract: A workstation having a pair of posts on either side of a clamping plate where a donor bone may be placed on sequentially cut in three separate cutting paths. Cutting gates are attached to the posts and used to provide cutting paths that can be precisely oriented with respect to the meniscus of the donor bone part using visual alignment without any manual measurements. The graft is affixed to a machining clamp and shaved to appropriately shape the sides and form a radius on the bottom of the graft. A tibia is then prepared by using a drill guide to form a pilot hole and then to drill out a large hole for the graft. The drilled hole is expanded and shaped using a rod guide and chisel and then a rasp. The shaped graft may then be implanted into the shaped hole and sutured in place.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2022Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: Conmed CorporationInventors: Adrian E. Publication number: 20010015572Abstract: A modular system that allows a child seat manufacturer to combine the installation of the crotch belt assembly and the shoulder belt adjuster assembly in one step, and which allows the child seat manufacturer to vary the type of components without having to alter the design of the child seat. This invention is a module for use with a child seat that has a shoulder harness, an interengageable combination of a tongue and seat belt buckle, and has a seat portion that has been adapted to receive the module. The module, itself, has a pan that is mountable within the seat portion of the child seat, a belt retractor fixedly attached to the bottom of the pan, and a crotch assembly that is designed to attach either to the buckle or the tongue of the seat belt harness.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 18, 1998Publication date: August 23, 2001Inventor: PETER E. MILLER
