  • Patent number: 5674222
Abstract: A bone plate is disclosed having a longitudinal shaft section with boreholes to admit attachment screws. Two forklike prongs are attached to the shaft section. The prongs are bent relative to the longitudinal axis of the shaft section at an angle from 60 degrees to 150 degrees. The prongs can be lengthened individually so that the bone plate can be adjusted to different applications, even interoperatively, and without great expense.
