In one or more examples, an autoencoder can be trained to generate a latent space that represents a number of molecules. The latent space can be used to train a property prediction network that includes a number of property predictors. A latent space optimization process can use the property predictors to identify regions of the latent space that represent molecules having the one or more targeted properties.

    Abstract: A device for releasing a mechanical energy storage device from an initial locked position in a release situation is comprised of a housing having a bearing connected thereto, a locking device for securing the energy storage device in the initial locked position and a supporting device deflectable in the release situation and connected to the bearing. The locking means is connected to the housing and rests on the supporting device in a prestressed manner in the initial locked position, whereby the supporting device is deflected in the release situation by forces created by its own inertia. The supporting device may be in the form of a spring, two springs with an inertia member therebetween, two bodies with an inertia member therebetween, or a ball in a ball socket. Another embodiment uses rollers and roller bearings.

    Abstract: In a safety belt fastening device for a safety belt system having a belt-tightening device which acts on the fastening device of the belt and a fastening tongue which can be latched in the fastening device, whereby the fastening device comprises a fastener body having a fastening mechanism for the fastening tongue and a spring-loaded release button which acts on the fastening mechanism, it is ensured that even at the end of the belt-tightening process the operating button is within reach in an accessible position for the person who is strapped in. To this purpose, it is provided that the release button is formed in two parts with two button portions which are coupled together, which are movable in relation to each other and of which one button portion follows the movement of the fastener body during the belt-tightening process and the other button portion, after the completion of the belt-tightening process, stands in the operating position preset by the rest position of the fastener body.

    Abstract: A safety belt buckle comprises a housing with an insertion path, a spring loaded ejector positioned in the insertion path, and a recess communicating with the insertion path. An insertion tongue with a cutout is insertable into the insertion path. A latch inside the housing locks the insertion tongue by engaging the cutout of the insertion tongue and the recess of the housing. A spring-loaded slide key is slidably connected to the housing and slidable in the direction transverse to a plane of movement of the latch. A spring-loaded slide key serves to release the latch. A compensation mass member is displaceably arranged within the housing for compensating acceleration forces acting on the safety belt buckle. A securing element is displaceably arranged within the housing such that the securing element secures the latch in its locking position and is movable into a release position by the slide key.

    Abstract: In a belt buckle for safety belts, particularly in motor vehicles, for receiving and locking an insertable tongue having a housing and, arranged therein, an insertion path for the insertable tongue, with the path containing a spring-loaded ejector, and having a locking element which is pivotably mounted in the buckle and, in the locked position, engages in the tongue recess and is secured in the locked position via a securing member movably mounted in the buckle, and having a slidable actuator for releasing the locking element, which is guided in the housing transversely with respect to the plane of movement of the locking element and which, to protect it from shock, cooperates with a counterweight guided in the housing, the intention is to simplify the construction of the buckle for the purpose of shock prevention and reduce the mass of the parts which cooperate in the event of acceleration of the buckle.

To provide illumination for the key and the insertion slot, a single light source is disposed in the buckle housing beyond these functional components. A light-conducting path of light-conducting material couples the light source with the key and the insertion slot.
