  • Patent number: 11447894
Abstract: An apparatus has a particle and/or fiber-making device and a foraminous endless belt extending in a longitudinal travel direction. A pair of horizontally spaced end rollers between which the belt is stretched horizontally receive fibers or particles from the device. A rotatable support roller between the end rollers directly engages and supports the belt, extends a full width of the belt, and has a diameter of less than 200 mm.

  • Publication number: 20040173554
Abstract: The invention relates to an industrial truck comprising a gantry-type, high-rise wheeled chassis and at least one lifting device (15) for loads that can be picked up and transported between the wheels (5, 6). Said chassis consists of at least one first front travelling frame (1) and at least one second rear travelling frame (2). Each travelling frame (1, 2) is configured as a gantry consisting of vertical stanchions with articulated wheels at their base and a cross brace (7, 8) that interconnects the heads of the stanchions (3, 4). Each travelling frame has a connection assembly (9, 10), which projects towards the respective opposite travelling frame, the free end (11, 12) of each connection assembly being connected to the respective opposite travelling frame by means of articulations (13). Each connection assembly (9, 10) resembles a triangular boom or jib with a horizontal brace (31) and a diagonal brace (32).

  • Patent number: 6402492
Abstract: An apparatus for producing a spun-bond web with a spinneret located above the upper pass of an endless collecting sieve belt below which a suction is generated through an elongated slot extending the full width of that upper pass. Swingable flaps are provided along longitudinal edges of the intake slot and can be swung, e.g. independently, to vary the width and position at which the suction is applied to the underside of the upper pass of the belt.

  • Patent number: 6058158
Abstract: An x-ray examination device for checking the contents of closed cargo carriers having two steerable single-track carriages disposed parallel to each other, wherein the carriages each support a vertical column. The free ends of the columns are connected to each other by means of a yoke spanning the space between the carriages, which corresponds to the maximal possible width of the cargo containers. The yoke can be raised and lowered on the two columns. Cantilevers are aligned horizontally, and parallel relative to each other, and are arranged on the yoke. The free ends of the cantilevers support a cross bar. Connected to one end of the cross bar are supports for supporting the x-ray equipment. The x-ray equipment includes an x-ray emitter and an x-ray receiver. Moreover, one or more screen vehicles having leaded mesh screens for surrounding the cargo containers are provided to shield against harmful x-rays outside the cargo container area.

  • Patent number: 4555031
Abstract: Vehicular crane of high carrying capacity having an extensible arm, especially a telescopic arm. The vehicular crane has a maximum carrying capacity of greater than 250 metric tons obtained in such a way that, with a stroke length which is sufficient for the situation, the vehicular crane can be ready for use immediately after reaching the place of use without having to undergo expensive assembly procedures. The extensible arm of the crane is connected with an undercarriage via a frame part which carries pivot mounting. The crane is also provided with wheeled swivel supports as carrier supports which are provided with vertically adjustable ground support elements and undercarriage wheels of which the direction can be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 4332328
Abstract: A mobile crane intended for carrying heavy loads has a slewable upper chassis which is rotatably mounted on a carriage by a conventional rotatable connection and in order to transmit loads greater than the connection can withstand, there is an additional rotary mounting. The additional mounting comprises an inner frame with cantilever arms between the upper chassis and the carriage. The upper chassis is detachably bolted to the arms and the arms have rollers which run in a circular rail fixed to the carriage. The rail has a greater diameter than the width of the carriage to enable it to transmit the heavy loads and moments, but to keep the crane within the statutory width limits for transport by road from site to site, the parts of the circular rail which project beyond the sides of the carriage are detachable. When these parts are detached for transport, the rollers on the cantilevers engage with the remaining parts of the rail at the front and back of the carriage.
