  • Patent number: 10225159
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for providing network management and application services for a telecommunications network. In an embodiment, data associated with a network entity in the telecommunication network may be received from a provider-specific data source, and the received data may include one or more data attribute values. The telecommunications network may be represented by a network graph containing vertices and edges, and each vertex may correspond to a respective network entity having a respective entity type. The plurality of edges in the network graph connected to the first vertex may be updated based on a linking rule that specifies a relationship between network entities having respective entity types, and a walk associated with the first vertex may be identified. The identified walk may then be dynamically executed from an intermediate starting vertex to generate one or more output entities.

  • Patent number: 10127261
Abstract: In one aspect, a computer-implemented method for managing conflicts in a logical component hierarchy is provided. The logical component hierarchy includes an ancestor component and a descendant component associated with the ancestor component. The method uses a computer device in communication with a memory. The method includes determining, by the computer device, a requirement to replace the descendant component, within the logical component hierarchy, with an overriding component. The overriding component is associated with the ancestor component by an overriding reference. The method also includes replacing the descendant component with the overriding component within the logical component hierarchy.

  • Patent number: 9626471
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for filtering components from a logical component hierarchy is provided. The method uses a computing device having a processor and a memory. The method includes identifying, in the memory, a filter associated with the logical component hierarchy. The method also includes comparing, by the processor, a sub-component of the logical component hierarchy with the filter. The method further includes identifying the sub-component for filtration based on the comparison of the sub-component with the filter. The method also includes filtering the sub-component from the logical component hierarchy.

  • Patent number: 8922873
Abstract: Tunable light sources having a single optical parametric generation (OPG) source that results in an amplified, narrow bandwidth seed beam and methods of tuning therewith are disclosed. The tunable light source may include a polarization rotator to rotate a pump beam before a first pass through an OPG, and a linear-to-circular polarization device to polarize the pump beam directed back toward the OPG for a second pass therethrough. Alternately, the tunable light source may include an OPG source through which a pump beam passes only in the first direction, a separator that separates a signal beam from the pump beam exiting from the OPG, a narrowband wavelength filter that receives the signal beam and generate a seed beam, and a reflecting surface that directs the seed beam back through the OPG (opposite the first direction) to seed the back part of the pulse of the pulse laser.

  • Publication number: 20110113498
Abstract: Provided herein are Sirt1 polymorphic variants having a substitution at amino acid residue 107 or nucleotide 373. In certain embodiments, the Sirt1 polypeptide variants have a L107P substitution and the nucleic acid variants have a T373C substitution. Genetic and/or biochemical testing may be performed to identify whether a patient carries one of the disclosed polymorphic variants. Based on the polymorphic variant the patient carries, a medical practitioner may administer an appropriate therapy, such as a sirtuin activator.

  • Publication number: 20110009496
Abstract: Resveratrol can be used to treat or inhibit the onset of many diseases that are related to the aging process, but large doses are required. The present invention provides concentrated liquid formulations of resveratrol, typically having a resveratrol concentration of at least 10% by weight. These formulations improve patient compliance because the patient need not consume such a large volume of a resveratrol formulation.
