  • Publication number: 20240209331
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to engineered polypeptides capable of degrading a polymer, such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The present disclosure also discloses polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides, vectors comprising the polynucleotides, as well as cells expressing the polynucleotides or vectors comprising the polynucleotides. Disclosed are also methods of degrading polymers, such as PET, and methods of manufacturing terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol.

  • Patent number: 11406120
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising Low Molecular Weight-Arabinoxylan (LMW-AX) with branched oligosaccharides, preferably at least one branched oligosaccharides is positioned at or adjacent to a reducing end of the LMW-AX backbone. The present invention also relates to the production and use thereof. The present invention further relates to a composition comprising Low Molecular Weight-Arabinoxylan (LMW-AX) with oligosaccharides, where a fraction of the Araf units have been removed to improve the yield of oligosaccharides.

  • Publication number: 20210012879
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for controlling fiber intake in mammals, comprising the steps: a) providing at least one input data; b) based on said input data, generating at least one output data; wherein the input data is based on information selected from the group consisting of host DNA, host metabolism, host colonic microbial composition, gene activity, metabolic activity, host specific parameters, and any combinations thereof wherein the output data is selected from the group consisting of information on fiber consumption, fiber supplementation and, any combinations thereof. The present invention further relates to a system and use of said method.

  • Patent number: 6527096
Abstract: A control device for the parking lock of a motor vehicle has at least one actuating drive (46) that can be operated by triggering devices and with which a locking device (11) can be moved between engaged and disengaged positions. For reliable operation, at least two independent triggering devices are provided and a change in position takes place only if both triggering devices (56, 58) are actuated. Preferably a hydraulic piston (46) brings the parking lock into its disengaged position when subjected to pressure. The triggering devices are constructed as solenoids (56, 58) under the control of two electrical controllers (140, 142) that undertake an evaluation of relevant control and measurement parameters.
