  • Patent number: 10349869
Abstract: A method for an assessment of a movement of a limb-related point in a predetermined 3D space effected by a user displacing the limb in the 3D space is provided. The method includes the steps of providing display surfaces in the 3D space around the user, providing a limb position point connected to a portion of the user's limb associated to the limb-related point, and providing sensors to detect the limb position point in the 3D space in relation to the joint. A computer program calculates a direction defined by a straight line between the joint and the limb-related point and provides a representation of the position of the limb-related point in the 3D space as a function of a distance between the joint and the limb-related point on one of the display surfaces on the line.

  • Patent number: 7529598
Abstract: A plate and method for positioning functional elements in a system for working with fluid-containing samples includes a horizontal work field having a lengthwise dimension and a perpendicularly extending transverse dimension, as well as a robot arm with a functional element, aligned essentially perpendicularly to the work field in a Z direction. The robot arm can move the functional element in at least a partial region of the work field in the X and/or Y direction. The plate includes two light barriers which intersect inside the partial region, each having a transmitter and receiver whose scanning or detection beams each extend in a direction deviating from the X direction and/or from the Y direction.

  • Publication number: 20070074636
Abstract: A jettisonable nosecone (10) for a missile is specified, which nosecone (10) is longitudinally split into at least two parts (15, 16) and is held together by detachable connecting structures, in which case the connecting structures are designed to actively move the at least two parts (15, 16) away from one another when released. A missile having a correspondingly designed nosecone (10) is also provided. A nosecone (10) of this type allows simple jettisoning during every flight phase of the missile, and is also suitable for retrofitting to an already existing missile.

  • Publication number: 20070075183
Abstract: A wing arrangement (10), which can be pushed onto a structure, such as a missile, and which includes a number of tubular segments (14) and a number of wings (16) which are arranged on the tubular segments (14). In order to allow the wing arrangement (10) to be pushed on over a missile, it includes structure for expandable connection of the tubular segments (14). Also provided is a missile having a wing arrangement (10) of that kind.

  • Publication number: 20060063474
Abstract: A method for producing a mirror (10) from a titanium-based material by using the technique of ultraprecision machining. The mirror produced using this method has both a shape accuracy and a surface roughness in the submicrometer region. The mirror (10) is made from a titanium-based material having a shape accuracy and a surface roughness in the submicrometer region, whose basic shape (11) has a has a reflecting surface (12) having a surface roughness of less than 60 nm, and in particular of less than 30 nm.

  • Patent number: 5404814
Abstract: A connecting assembly serves for connecting a dome covering a seeker head with the structure of a missile. A holding ring extends over the rim of said dome, positively holding this dome and connected with the structure of the missile. An annular recess is provided underneath the holding ring along the rim of the dome. This recess contains a flexible sealing substance for establishing a seal between the holding ring and the dome. It is important, that no additional material bonding such as cementing or soldering is provided between the dome and the holding ring.
