    Abstract: The winding apparatus for endless filaments has axially shiftable chucks for the bobbin tubes. The chucks are arranged to pivot on a revolving disc and are brought into contact first with a central and non-displaceable accelerating ring and, subsequently, with a rotating friction drive drum. The revolving disc is provided with two openings through which the pivotable bobbin chucks pass.
