    Abstract: The doffing system employs a doffing carriage which is reciprocable along rails to receive and carry bobbin packages away from the chucks of a winder. The carriage is constructed with a parallelogram linkage so as to have an upper frame portion raised and lowered while remaining horizontal in order to carry a bobbin package.
