  • Patent number: 12374860
Abstract: According to embodiments, a semiconductor laser comprises a semiconductor layer stack, which comprises an active zone for generating radiation. The semiconductor laser also comprises a first resonator mirror, a second resonator mirror, and an optical resonator, which is arranged between the first and second resonator mirrors and extends in a direction parallel to a main surface of the semiconductor layer stack. A reflectance R1 of the first resonator mirror is wavelength-dependent, so that R1 or a product R of R1 and the reflectance R2 of the second resonator mirror in a wavelength range decreases from a target wavelength ?0 of the laser to ?0+?? from a value R0, wherein ?? is selected as a function of a temperature-dependent shift in an emission wavelength.

  • Patent number: 7614514
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a tamper evident closure for a container having a cap on a spout. The inverted cap can be used as a tool for removing a twist away element. Both, the cap and the spout have conic guiding surfaces, which center the cap in respect to the spout, while it is removed towards and onto the spout. The initial opening of the tamper evident closure is therefore easier.

  • Publication number: 20060253310
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for profiling and modifying the training program of a company. Characteristics of the training program are aligned to a set of training supply chain components of a capability assessment model. The components are assessed and reported to show a comparison of the company with the leader in the associated business segment by categorizing the components. An assessment report is displayed that includes indicia indicative of a comparison of the company's training program with the business segment leader for each component of the training program model. The indicia may further reflect a degree of difference between the training program of the company and the business segment leader. Training characteristics associated with at least one component of a training program may be recommended from the assessment results to change the categorization of the at least one component.

  • Publication number: 20050077264
Abstract: The container comprises a container body (1) and a sealing cap (9) which may be screwed to the container body (1). Barbs (5) are circularly distributed on the container body (1). Said barbs (5) each comprise a run-up ramp (7) and a locking surface (8). The sealing cap (9) is connected to a security ring (16) by means of break-off webs (15). The security ring (16) comprises projections (17) extending inwards from the inner circumference thereof, with run-up ramps (18) and locking surfaces (19). On closing the sealing cap (9) the run-up ramps (7;18) slide over each other. On unscrewing the sealing cap (9) an opposing blocking occurs due to the locking surfaces (8;19). The security ring (16) is thus blocked relative to the sealing cap (9), whereupon the break-off webs (15) are torn off.
