Abstract: This invention relates to a construction element (1) which is suitable for cladding the walls of buildings. The element (1) is made of synthetic plastics material, has a generally planar exterior decorable face (2) and a hollow interior face opposite the exterior face, and is preferably fire resistant, fibre reinforced, UV-stabilized, biocidal and formed by moulding. The exterior face (2) is decorated with a decorable finish which is in the form of a sprayable mixture of a polymer or resin and any one or more of a has formations (5, 7, 9) located within the hollow which facilitate securemtne of the element to a wall.
