  • Patent number: 11961035
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods are provided for enhanced geographical caching of estimated arrival times. A method may include receiving respective user inputs indicative of respective users being in transit to a destination location from within a geographic region; determining, for the first user and the second user, a first estimated time of arrival from a first geographical area to the destination location, the first geographical area including the first location and the second location; identifying a third location of the first device at a third time, wherein the third location is within the first geographical area; determining that a time-to-live (TTL) of the first estimated time of arrival has not expired at the third time; and refraining from recalculating the first estimated time of arrival.

  • Patent number: 11252535
Abstract: A device, system and method for transmitting a response command to a radio using a visualization of locations of radios and communication links therebetween is provided. A device generates a visualization of respective locations of radios and communication links therebetween, the visualization distinguishing between the radios that are inside a coverage area of a communication network and a first radio that is outside of the coverage area, the visualization indicating a second radio in communication with the first radio via a local communication link. The device detects an input indicating a response command associated with the first radio. The device determines a routing path from the computing device to a given radio of the radios that are inside the coverage area. The device transmits, to the given radio, via the routing path, the response command.

  • Patent number: 10938855
Abstract: Systems and methods for computer network infrastructure provisioning are provided. In one illustrative implementation, a base server is sent to and physically installed at a remote site by field technicians, the base server automatically and securely connects back to a central site, and then becomes the platform to logically provision all other network elements to start a remote network infrastructure, wherein this process may be accomplished without intervention by network engineers at the remote site. The connection and communication between the central and remote site can be implemented over various networks, such as over the Internet, over a private IP network, over a cellular network, and/or other networks. According to implementations herein, the base server can ensure physical and logical integrity even if the environment or the chain of custody of the equipment involved is not trusted.

  • Patent number: 8924545
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to creating a persona from observed characteristics of content and to sharing a network persona derived from observed characteristics of content. In one scenario, a computer system observes one set of properties for a first portion of content on a network. The first portion of content is from a first account. The computer system also observes a different set of properties for a second portion of content on the network, where the second portion of content is from a second account. The computer system then correlates an association between the first account and the second account as part of a network persona that is based on the first properties and one or more corresponding properties from the second portion of content.

  • Publication number: 20070099467
Abstract: The invention concerns an engagement sense pin system (200) and a method (400) for same. The system can include a circuit (210) having an end (214) in which the end can include a plurality of pins (216), at least one of which may be a sense pin (218), and a connector (212) that can receive the end of the circuit. The connector can include a set of contacts (220) that may correspond to the pins of the circuit. Also, the sense pin can have a length that is shorter than a number of the remaining pins of the circuit. When the contact receives the sense pin, the engagement between the circuit and the connector may be deemed sufficient. The system can also include a detection mechanism (224) that can detect the receipt of the sense pin of the circuit by the contact of the connector.

  • Publication number: 20070001083
Abstract: A mounting apparatus (100) for a mobile communication device includes a unitarily formed bracket (102) having side surfaces (104) with integrated lock washer functionality. Cantilevered beams (106, 108) are deflected outward from the side surfaces (104) forming a clearance (110) through which to receive a screw (210) for coupling the mobile communication device (302) to the bracket (102). The cantilevered beams (106, 108) minimize backward rotation of the screw (210) and provide compliancy between the bracket (102), the screw (210) and the mobile communication device (302).
