Publication number: 20240189760Abstract: A system for recovering methane from a biogas comprises a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) unit, a biogas inlet, a gas mixer and a surge tank. The PSA unit recovers methane from the biogas and directs one fraction of the recovered methane toward a product gas outlet. The PSA unit directs another fraction of the recovered methane toward a recycling line and directs remaining gases to an exhaust. The biogas inlet receives biogas from a biogas source. The gas mixer is fluidly connected to the biogas inlet, to the recycling line and to the PSA unit, forms a combination of the biogas received at the biogas inlet and of the recycled methane, and supplies the combination to the PSA unit for methane recovery. The surge tank is in one of the recycling line or in an exhaust line and reduces a pressure in the PSA unit to improve methane recovery efficiency.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 2, 2021Publication date: June 13, 2024Inventors: Cristian Stefan IUHAS, Richard Peter Glynn JEWELL, Alberto TORRES

Publication number: 20240116697Abstract: A proppant discharge system has a container with an outlet formed at a bottom thereof and a gate slidably affixed at the outlet so as to be movable between a first position covering the outlet and a second position opening the outlet, and a support structure having an actuator thereon. The container is removably positioned on the top surface of the support structure. The actuator is engageable with gate so as to move the gate from the first position to the second position. A conveyor underlies the container so as to receive proppant as discharged from the container through the outlet. The actuator and conveyor can be controlled remotely.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2023Publication date: April 11, 2024Applicant: SANDBOX ENTERPRISES, LLCInventors: John Oren, Joshua Oren, Peter Glynn
