  • Patent number: 7743645
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and device for obtaining a determined flow resistance of a flow channel, especially an opening in a component. The method involves the following steps: a liquid flows through the flow channel; a characteristic depending on the flow resistance of the flow channel in the component is determined; and the flow channel is machined by means of a working method until said characteristic reaches a pre-determined nominal value.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 12, 2007
Date of Patent: June 29, 2010
    Assignee: Extrude Hone GmbH
Inventors: Peter Gosger, Armin Walther, Patrick Matt, Alfred Ernst

  • Publication number: 20050076488
Abstract: A diagnostic reagent for use in the evaluation of a pharmacological effect of a medicine containing a pharmaceutical agent including an enzyme, an enzyme inhibitor or a receptor ligand or a prodrug of the pharmaceutical agent; and a method of screening pharmaceutical agents each comprising an enzyme, an enzyme inhibitor or a receptor ligand and/or prodrugs of the pharmaceutical agents for one or noes having high medicative efficacy and/or a small side effect are provided.

  • Patent number: 4559435
Abstract: An apparatus for spark-erosive planetary eroding of a workpiece in which an eroding electrode is lowered into the workpiece as the workpiece is eroded and the workpiece and electrode carry out planetary motion with respect to each other so the operation gap between the narrow periphery of the electrode and the workpiece moves around the periphery of the electrode during planetary motion. A plurality of injection nozzles are positioned around the gap for supplying liquid dielectric thereto in accordance with the planetary movement. A plate having bores therethrough closes a chamber containing such liquid with each bore supplying a nozzle. The bores terminate at a wall of the chamber so that the opening into the chamber and therefore the supply to each nozzle is varied in accordance with the planetary movement.

  • Patent number: 4116799
Abstract: A machine for simultaneously electrochemical processing a plurality of workpieces in which a workpiece receiver is mounted on spring loaded rails between a clamping unit and a base for horizontal movement between loading and operating positions. A working electrode extends through a bore in the clamping unit to create a working gap with a workpiece which is electrically connected via a spring loaded contact member to a source of eroding current. The clamping unit can be moved up and down to make and break electrical contact and to clamp and release the workpieces. Electrolyte is supplied to and removed from the working gap.
