    Abstract: A method for producing a double-walled drainage foil with an open drainage space comprising: i) providing first and second web-shaped elements; ii) perforating the first and second web-shaped elements, wherein in each of the first web-shaped element and the second web-shaped element, at least one opening allowing the passage of body fluids, preferably a multiplicity of openings allowing the passage of body fluids, is formed; iii) arranging the first web-shaped element on the second web-shaped element in such a way that the first web-shaped element and the second web-shaped element are arranged approximately parallel; iv) connecting the first web-shaped element and the second web-shaped element at at least one fastening region, in particular at at least one punctiform fastening region, preferably by ultrasonic welding, in order to obtain a double-walled drainage foil with an open drainage space formed between the first web-shaped element and the second web-shaped element.
