  • Patent number: 10768086
Abstract: In determining the size of particles in a flowing sample, initially scattered light is detected on a detector, in the form of images, standardization of the measured images takes place and determination of an offset and of an angle of rotation at least of a partial region of two temporally successive images relative to each other is effected. Two images congruent are subdivided into many partial areas with respectively a specific number of pixels and averaging of the brightness values of each individual partial area is implemented. Subsequently, the average brightness value of a partial area of the first image is correlated with the average brightness value of the partial area made congruent with this partial area in the second image (cross-correlation between the images). For each pair of congruent partial areas of the images, a correlation value is thereby produced.

  • Publication number: 20180322538
Abstract: Some embodiments include a method to determine whether to remove third party content in web content requested by a user. The method includes receiving a request for web content from a client device associated with an IP address. The method also includes determining whether an ISP associated with the IP address is known. In response to determining that the ISP is known, a contract status of the IP address is determined and the web content is processed to manage third party content based on the contract status of the IP address. The method also includes transmitting the web content with additional processing to the client device at the IP address.

  • Patent number: 8403121
Abstract: A device for sealing a double clutch transmission of a motor vehicle, with a transmission housing, in which are arranged a clutch chamber with clutch oil and a double clutch, a transmission chamber with transmission oil and a double clutch transmission wheel set and two co-axial drive shafts disposed, one inside the other. One drive shaft is an interior central shaft which extends inside the transmission chamber from the end of the second hollow drive shaft. The two drive shafts each have a sealing element to seal the clutch chamber from the transmission chamber. A mounting component is situated inside and fixed to the transmission housing to support two adjacent sealing elements. A first sealing element forms a seal radially on the hollow drive shaft and a second sealing element forms a seal radially on the central drive shaft to provide a reliable seal and offer a simple ventilation and leakage detection.

  • Patent number: 8381866
Abstract: A vehicle having a main transmission and a front-axle transmission, the connection of which to the main transmission is effected by a connecting shaft of rigid design, a main axis of the connecting shaft and the center line of the main transmission being positioned in such a way relative to one another that there is a lateral offset angle, a longitudinal offset angle and a rotation angle between the main axis of the connecting shaft and the center line of the main transmission.

  • Patent number: 6333964
Abstract: In a method and apparatus for measuring the imaging dose in the framework of the registration of a radiation image of a subject, particularly of an x-ray image, a radiation source is employed for generating radiation, a solid-state radiation detector is employed for image pickup and a sensor is employed for calculating the imaging dose, and a radiation detector on a semiconductor base that lies behind the solid-state radiation detector with reference to the direction of the radiation incident onto the solid-state radiation detector is employed, for measuring radiation penetrating through the solid-state radiation detector. The radiation sensor emits an output signal that represents the measured radiation, and the imaging dose at a location in front of the solid-state radiation detector is determined based on the output signal.
