Abstract: A trailer for providing a usable space. The trailer includes a wheeled underframe with a base element which is at least partially open at a top, a roof element with a roof surface and four adjacent side walls, and a connection element which connects the base element to the roof element in a set-up state. The connection element has an upper surface with at least two adjacent, opposite side walls. In a travel state, the roof element surrounds the connection element and the base element from an outside at the top and at least partially at the sides. To provide the set-up state of the trailer, the roof element extends a dimension of the base element by being erected substantially vertically, and the connection element increases a height of the base element by being erected, so as to provide a firmly enclosed usable space in an interior of the trailer.

Abstract: A blowout system for ejection and discharge tubes of submarines is provided which permits an ejection of weapons from a torpedo tube, said weapons not having an own propulsion, and which prevents the intrusion of water after the blowout operation is terminated. The system is subsequently installable as a compact unit and has an outlet opening which is closed by a check valve. The outlet opening is continued by a buffer tube, a blowout valve arranged between a compressed-gas container and said buffer tube being provided for supplying said compressed gas.

Abstract: Substituted ethanols of the general formula ##STR1## in which Ar.sub.1 is a carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring and Az is a triazolyl, benzimidazolyl, pyrazolyl or imidazolyl radical, are reacted with aryl hydrocarbons Ar.sub.2 --H, in which Ar.sub.2 has the same meaning as Ar.sub.1, in the presence of an acidic catalyst, to give 1,1-diaryl-2-azolylethanes.The substances, which, apart from the imidazolyl derivatives, are new, can be used as biocides, in particular fungicides.

Abstract: Fungicidal 3-azolyl-1,2-diaryl-1-haloprop-1-enes of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.4 is chlorine or bromine, and Az is a 1,2,4-triazol-1-yl radical, and their preparation.

Abstract: A device for clamping and stopping elongated objects. The device encompasses a passage adapted to receive at least a section of an elongated object to be stopped. Two jaws are located on both sides of this passage and are associated with a mounting arrangement to displace the jaws toward and away from the section for insertion of the elongated object and to clamp and release it. The device is a cable stopper in which the jaws catch and stop a cable led through the passage.
