  • Patent number: 10563742
Abstract: Linear actuators and methods for assembling the same are disclosed. A linear actuator according to the disclosure may include a drive unit having a drive shaft and a spindle mechanism having a spindle, which can be driven by the drive shaft. A bearing unit may be provided, which may be configured to support a connecting shaft connecting the drive shaft to the spindle and has a bearing block matched to the internal cross section of the housing. The bearing unit may have a preloading device for preloading a rotary bearing inserted into the bearing block, and the spindle may be screwed to the connecting shaft via a centering portion and a screw fastening portion.

Assignee: SCHAEFFLER TECHNOLOGIES AG & CO. KG
    Inventors: Patrick Daniel, Peter Heipt
  • Patent number: 10094463
Abstract: A linear actuator is disclosed having a housing and a plurality of components arranged in the housing. The actuator may include at least one conducting component, a group of mechanical, non-conducting components including components of a spindle mechanism, and at least one bearing arrangement designed to support components of the spindle mechanism in the housing. The at least one conducting component may be separated from the group of mechanical, non-conducting components by at least one seal in such a way that two mutually separate spaces sealed off from one another are formed within the housing.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20180031092
Abstract: An actuating drive comprising a drive unit including a drive shaft. The actuating drive also includes a spindle drive that includes a spindle configured to be actuated by the drive shaft, a bearing unit arranged between the drive unit and a spindle drive, wherein the bearing unit is configured to support a shaft that is connected to the drive shaft and the spindle. The actuating drive further includes a first and second chamber, wherein the first and second chamber are separated by the bearing unit and formed inside a housing of the actuating drive.

  • Patent number: 7997801
Abstract: Linear roller bearing, for carriage (1) which is longitudinally displaceable along rail (2). Carriage (1) has an endless channel (8) for endless circulation of rolling bodies (9). Channel (8) has load section (10), return section (11) and two deflection sections (12) which connect load section (10) to return section (11). Rolling bodies (9) roll in load section (10) on raceways (10a, 10b), and returned, without load, in return section (11). Bodies (9) are deflected in deflection sections (12) between load section (10) and return section (11). Deflection sections (12) have one inner deflection means (14) with inner deflection race (16) and outer deflection means (13) with outer deflection race (15). Inner deflection means (14) and outer deflection means (13) are connected, integrally to one another.
