  • Patent number: 8370742
Abstract: A display device for displaying operating parameters of an agricultural machine which includes a working unit has a display unit designed such that it may display several subsections, to each of which an operating parameter is assigned, in a first operating state of the working unit, a closed main region having a central geometric focal point may be displayed, and a first subsection is limited on the side by a second subsection, in a second operating state of the working unit, the mean distance between one side of the first subsection and the central geometric focal point is changed, and an agricultural machine includes the working unit, a driver's cab, and the display device.

  • Publication number: 20090044505
Abstract: The invention relates to an agricultural working machine (1), in particular a forage harvester (2), with at least one spout (4) for conveying received and processed crop (7) to a transport vehicle (6, 25), wherein an electro-optical device (18) is provided for the direction control of the spout (4) at least during the process of conveying to the transport vehicle (6, 25), and wherein the electro-optical device (18) detects characteristic parameters (30) of the spout (4) and characteristic parameters (30) of the transport vehicle (6) and/or the agricultural working machine (1). This ensures that a control of a spout (4) of agricultural working machines (1, 2) is provided which almost completely relieves the operator of the agricultural working machine (1, 2) of the task of monitoring the spout.

  • Publication number: 20090037059
Abstract: The invention relates to a control system for agricultural working vehicles with at least two sensor systems which generate sensor signals (A, B), wherein the sensor signals (A, B) are vehicle-dependent or dependent on the crop characteristics or a combination of both. The object of this invention is to develop a control system for agricultural working vehicles in such a manner that a suitable fusion of the sensor signals (A, B) of the sensor systems is achieved, in particular. This object is achieved according to the invention in that at least one first and at least one second sensor signal processing algorithm (I,II,III,IV,V) is provided in the control system, and in that a selection is made as to which sensor signal processing algorithm (I,II,III,IV,V) is to be used as a function of at least one characteristic parameter (P).

  • Patent number: 6932183
Abstract: A control apparatus for an agricultural machine operatively arranged in an operator's cab proximate an operator having a multi-functional handle. The multi-functional handle has a gripping portion with a plurality of control elements. The control elements are operatively arranged such that the operator can reach the control elements with one or two fingers while holding the gripping portion. A selection/transfer element is used to select control elements to perform a first and a second control function. A display unit is used to display the function symbols of the selected function.

  • Patent number: 6282476
Abstract: An agricultural machine, in particular a combine harvester and thresher, which is comprised of component devices (1-N) with associated microprocessors (M1-MN), of which at least one is a control station processor (M1) with a control keypad (TA) and a screen (V), which microprocessors are connected to measurement, actuation members of the respective component devices (1-N) and regarding this, process data that appears in the component device (1-N) in a controlling and/or regulating manner, or in a manner which displays it, wherein these microprocessors (M1-MN) are connected syndetically to a standard communications bus (B) via conventional interface circuits (SS) and via these circuits, continuously transmit operating data with an identifier, which is specific to the operating data, wherein in the individual microprocessors (M1-MN), the identifiers of these kinds of operating data, which are to be received, are stored in a table as a one in bit configuration and are accessed with the identifier at the bit posi
