  • Patent number: 6507203
Abstract: Disclosed is a test head assembly for a test system, comprising a test head having a plurality of test head contact areas for providing electronic signals to one or more devices under test (DUT) and/or for receiving electronic signals therefrom. The test head assembly further comprises fastening means for fastening one or more individual, physically separated DUT boards to the test head, each DUT board being provided for holding one or more of the DUTs and adapting electrical contacts thereof to at least one of the plurality of test head contact areas. In order to provide a flexible and modular test head arrangement allowing an easy exchange of different DUT boards with different seizes, the arrangement of the fastening means and the plurality of test head contact areas is commensurable, so that one or more DUT boards with same and/or different lateral dimensions are attachable to the test head.

  • Patent number: 4986975
Abstract: The invention is a multi-stage process for purifying hydrogen chloride containing acetylene and ethylene, from pyrolysis of 1,2-dichloroethane to provide highly pure hydrogen chloride for use in the preparation of silicon compounds. In the first stage, unsaturated by-products are chlorinated by reaction with an excess of chlorine gas. In the second stage, the unreacted chlorine gas remaining in the hydrogen chloride is reacted with an excess of defined olefins or chloroolefins and the hydrogen chloride is separated from the chlorination products and the excess olefins or chloroolefins by low-temperature rectification under pressure.

  • Patent number: 4335455
Abstract: A method and apparatus for the four-wire type transmission of digital message signals between a superordinate system, such as a digital exchange, and a subordinate system, such as a digital subscriber station, along a two-wire transmission line. A regenerator is inserted at a given point in the transmission line which switches the message signal blocks repeatedly and alternately transmitted between the superordinate system and the subordinate system onto a four-wire line within the regenerator. The message signal blocks transmitted from the subordinate system to the superordinate system are separately delayed within the regenerator by a delay time period sufficient to avoid overlap with the time periods during which the message signal blocks transmitted by the superordinate system are received at the regenerator.

  • Patent number: 4162376
Abstract: A circuit arrangement is disclosed for individual subscribers in a telecommunication set up. The circuit arrangement converts analog signals into digital signals and digital signals into analog signals. When operated in a conference connection, summation signals are received by a subscriber which contain the subscriber's own share. Output digital signals from the subscriber are stored and converted into an analog value and are then subtracted from the received summation signal converted into an analog value.

  • Patent number: 4160878
Abstract: A circuit arrangement is disclosed for converting digital signals into analog signals and analog signals into digital signals. The circuit arrangement is used as a conference set for use by individual subscribers on a multiplex line. Digital signals of all subscribers are consecutively converted into analog signals and an analog summation signal is formed therefrom. This summation signal is again converted back into a digital signal and can be multiply transmitted as such. Alternatively, a number n of circuit arrangements are provided for a maximum number n of subscribers. Each of the circuit arrangements converts digital signals of n-1 conference subscribers (excluding an allocated subscriber) into analog signals and forms an analog summation signal therefrom. This analog summation signal is converted back into a digital signal which is transmitted in a time slot allocated to the allocated conference subscriber to which the circuit arrangement is allocated.

  • Patent number: 4112427
Abstract: A method and apparatus for a telecommunication installation is disclosed for converting PAM analog signals into PCM digital signals and vice versa. A conversion circuit which is connected to a telephone station comprises an input register for temporarily storing the incoming PCM digital signals and an output register for temporarily storing the outgoing PCM digital signals. This conversion circuit includes a clock pulse generator which enables a counter to count through all its counter positions upon the appearance of each channel time slot pulse of the incoming PCM channel time slot pulse train. The input register and counter are connected to an intermediate register which in turn is connected to a digital-to-analog converter for converting the incoming PCM digital signal into an analog signal. This analog signal is sent to the receiving unit of the telephone station in a first time interval of the counter.
