  • Publication number: 20260092787
Abstract: In various examples, junction points corresponding to locations where disparate lanes deviate from one another may be determined and used to associate (e.g., match) perceived lanes with corresponding, mapped road segments. For instance, the systems and methods of the present disclosure may use perception data to determine locations of junction points where two or more lanes deviate from one another, as well as to determine lateral distances between adjacent lanes. Using the junction points and/or the lateral distances, the lanes may be sorted into various lane groups, where each lane group may correspond to a different road segment. In some examples, the systems may match individual lanes or lane groups to respective road segments of a map based on the junction points corresponding to mapped road junctions and/or lane geometry corresponding to mapped road topology.

  • Publication number: 20260032368
Abstract: A headset microphone may comprise a microphone at the end of a boom arm that may be adjustably secured in a number of positions. The number of positions may be selected by a user, and may be arranged to accommodate a wide variety of users. The headset may comprise a frame and a post configured to receive a slider. The slider may receive a boom arm retaining the microphone. The frame and the post may comprise respective channels defined by the shape of the slider. The headset may comprise a knob, which may secure the slider in order to fix the slider in a number of positions on the headset.

  • Patent number: 8451779
Abstract: A device receives, from an emergency call server (ECS), a query that includes a telephone number, a femto global positioning system (GPS) identifier, and an Internet protocol (IP) address associated with a user equipment (UE) placing an emergency call. The device obtains a serving cell E-UTRAN cell global identifier (ECGI) of the UE based on the query, and determines whether the ECGI is a macro ECGI associated with a base station or a femto ECGI associated with a femto cell.

  • Patent number: 7277416
Abstract: In existing standards for packet data communication over enhanced cellular networks, for a subscriber having a static address, the network relies on the terminal to provide the static address. Consequently, the terminal needs to know (be programmed with) its own static address and typically the address of a home agent element of the network. To eliminate the attendant need to provision such address data in the mobile station, the static address is stored in a node of the network, and the network assigns that one address to the mobile station, every time when the subscriber requests packet data service, for example, using a mobile IP (MIP) type address assignment procedure. The address assignment operation may also provide the home agent address to the station.

  • Patent number: 7272379
Abstract: Improved billing accuracy in session-based communications is provided by separating session (or connection) billing from session processing. If two sessions (440, 442) on the same serving node are bridged, so the true stop time of the prior session (440) is not known, the stop time of the prior session is defined as a function of the last activity during (TALS1) that session. To accomplish this, the serving node detects and stores the time of last activity and the time of initiation for each connection and determines the billing time accordingly, regardless of the state of the inactivity timer (430) or whether sessions were bridged by the serving node.
