Patent number: 9979252Abstract: A rotor for an electrodynamic machine, in particular an electric motor, is disclosed. The rotor includes a rotor packet having a first rotor end and a second rotor end as well as a plurality of interconnected sheet metal rings. Each sheet metal ring forms a web. Further, the rotor includes a web insulation with at least one winding support element for receiving a rotor coil. In addition, the rotor includes an end sheet metal element with at least one support element, where the end sheet metal element is at least partially integrated into the winding support element.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2013Date of Patent: May 22, 2018Assignee: Hilti AktiengesellschaftInventors: Thomas Mahler, Thomas Schaefer, Peter Hufnagel

Patent number: 9721374Abstract: Chart animation control may be provided. Upon receiving a change to a displayed visualization comprising a plurality of data elements, a determination may be made as to whether to animate an update of the visualization according to the change to the displayed visualization. In response to determining to animate the update of the visualization according to the change to the data value, an animation of the update may be constructed and rendered and the updated visualization may be displayed.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2016Date of Patent: August 1, 2017Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Kevin Fan, Damien Berger, Peter Hufnagel, Bide Hu, Justin Dallal, Monica Poinescu

Patent number: 7070949Abstract: The invention relates to the analysis of complex protein mixtures such as entire proteomes, and in particular the rapid detection of previously unknown or unusually expressed proteins by common enzymatic digestion, subsequent chromatographic separation and analysis of the digestion peptides by mass spectrometry. The invention consists in subjecting fractions of the digestion peptides separated by liquid chromatography to analysis by mass spectrometry, at a time other than that of the chromatography, in a tandem time-of-flight mass spectrometer with ionization by matrix assisted laser desorption (MALDI). This method finds many times more proteins than are found through the procedures predominantly used until now of two-dimensional gel electrophoresis with subsequent time-of-flight mass spectrometry. It also removes the time pressure that dominates the real-time analysis of coupled LC-MS processes, and it allows measurements to be reduced to the interesting proteins by intermediate analysis.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 2002Date of Patent: July 4, 2006Assignee: Bruker Daltonik GmbHInventors: Detlev Suckau, Peter Hufnagel, Jochen Franzen
