  • Publication number: 20240143603
Abstract: A service intelligence system is disclosed. The service intelligence system receives a search query, identifies anomalous machine codes for a machine associated with the search query, selects one or more historical data elements based on a similarity score between the identified anomalous machine codes and machine codes associated with the one or more historical data elements, ranks the one or more historical data elements based on the similarity score, selects a predetermined number of the one or more historical data elements based on descending rank order, and provides at least one corrective action or at least one part replacement associated with the tag for each of the predetermined number of highest ranked historical data elements in response to the search query. The machine codes are identified for a predetermined time period and each of the one or more historical data elements is associated with a tag.

  • Publication number: 20240122555
Abstract: A framework for troubleshooting medical imaging equipment. Log event data and state data of one or more components of the medical imaging equipment are received. One or more calculations are performed based on the log event data and state data to generate processed data. One or more representations of the one or more components of the medical imaging equipment may then be generated based on the processed data, the log event data, the state data, or a combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20220107859
Abstract: A root cause associated with an anomalous event in a device is determined. A method includes retrieving one or more event records associated with the device from a database. The method further includes determining a risk category associated with the one or more event records based on information present in the one or more event records. The risk category indicates a risk associated with a functioning of the device. Additionally, the method includes determining a priority associated with each of the one or more event records based on a baseline associated with the one or more event records. The baseline is defined based on a set of events that occur during a normal functioning of the device. The method includes determining the root cause associated with the anomalous event in the device based on the risk category and the priority associated with the event records.

  • Patent number: 7376478
Abstract: A method to achieve perceived reliability for repairable systems including goal setting of different phases of the product life cycle. The method includes consideration of a plurality of product life cycle phases to determine a plurality of failure rate multipliers which are transformed to mean time between failures multipliers and normalized. Using these computed mean times between failures multipliers and a chosen level of customer use, the box-of-parts required mean time between failures level can be calculated. Also, the required mean time between failures for design, manufacturing, infant mortality, and service phase of product life cycle can be computed.

  • Publication number: 20050244319
Abstract: In a method of controlling air pollution, a combustion gas is passed through a slurry of an alkaline-earth metal sulfide and a redox buffer (e.g., a phosphate), preferably in combination with an alkaline-earth metal carbonate and/or hydroxide. A composition for removing a heavy metal from a combustion gas is also provided, as an aerosolized, aqueous dispersion or slurry of an alkaline-earth metal sulfide and a buffering agent. A solid residue of the air pollution control process is also described.

  • Publication number: 20050220686
Abstract: The invention provides methods of remediating lead and other heavy metals in ammunition traps and shooting ranges. One or more remediation agents is added to a trap or a shooting range. The remediation agent(s) interact with and “fix” heavy metals, rendering them substantially non-leachable. An improved ammunition trap is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20050211126
Abstract: The invention provides a self-remediating projectile, i.e., an environmentally-remediating bullet, slug, shot, missile, or other ballistic projectile. An environmental remediation agent (e.g., a calcium or magnesium sulfide, phosphate, or similar material), preferably in combination with a water-soluble or biodegradable polymer, acts as a coating for a conventional projectile, rendering it less water soluble and, hence, less prone to corrosion. Also provided are a method of making a self-remediating projectile, an environmentally remediating target, and a method of remediating an area polluted with spent ammunition.
