  • Patent number: 6485219
Abstract: A furniture component arrangement includes a ganging bracket useful for securing a pair of adjacent flanges of adjacent office furniture components in a workstation. The ganging bracket includes ganging parts that are designed for positioning about flanges projecting outwardly from a back wall extending along a length of an office furniture component. The ganging parts each include a male section including a flange slot, a female section forming a female slot, and a vertical offset joining the male section and the female section. The ganging parts also include a substantially identical second ganging part. Each of the ganging parts also includes a channel, aligned with the vertical offset and extending along a portion of the ganging part.

  • Patent number: 6349516
Abstract: A frame arrangement for use with an interior space-dividing wall system including portable upright panel assemblies. The frame arrangement includes upright post assemblies in supportive engagement with the floor and a cross members which extend laterally between adjacent pairs of the post assemblies. The cross member mounts thereon a cable trough which may be utilized to carry cabling and to support a power distribution assembly including electrical receptacles for providing the panel assemblies with electrical power. The cross member and cable trough are adapted to prevent rotation of the cable trough during insertion and removal of plugs or jacks from the receptacles.

  • Patent number: 6112485
Abstract: An interior upright space-dividing wall system wherein portable upright panel assemblies are connected to one another through upright support posts, the latter having a foot for engagement with a floor. Each panel assembly includes a vertically elongate frame member which defines an upright end edge of the respective panel assembly and supports a panel connector member for joining the panel assembly to the support post. The panel connector members include upper and lower jaw members which engage in corresponding openings in a side wall of the support post. The support post includes a pair of connectors at a lower end thereof, each of which supports a lower end of one of the panel assemblies.

  • Patent number: 4723219
Abstract: A general safe retract and return function is provided for a machine tool which is easily programmed for all cases to avoid collision and interference between the workpiece and tool and to reduce the damage or imperfection in the surface of the machined workpiece caused by the termination and/or resumption of machining. The general safe retract and return function includes parameters defining incremental retract and entry vectors relative to the direction of the machining path in the region of the interrupted point. Preferably the tool and workpiece are reengaged at the interrupted point along an entry ventor which is at a grazing angle with respect to the reverse of the tool feed direction along the machining path, thereby avoiding remachining of the workpieces but providing a smooth surface finish.
