Patent number: 11886321Abstract: A system and method for automatic coding out biases in applications, systems, and processes are disclosed. A processor operatively connected to a memory via a communication interface applies an intake process based on received inventory data to applications, systems, and processes and implements a machine learning model in response to applying the intake process. The processor also identifies areas of the potential bias data within the applications, systems, and processes by utilizing the machine learning model based on analyzing response data received during the intake process; generates output data that includes bias data and exceptions data identified for the applications, systems, and processes; and mitigates the bias data and exceptions data in response to the output data by implementing a mitigation process.Type: GrantFiled: August 10, 2021Date of Patent: January 30, 2024Assignee: JPMORGAN CHASE BANK, N.A.Inventors: Aquelah Davis, Iqbal M Khan, Edwin L Tate, Paula Fetterman, Peter J Evans, Stephanie M Cromuel, Sharon L Williams, Paroul Bhandari, Dillon W Sullivan, Nicoleta Mihai

Patent number: 10345087Abstract: A mid-body which a cylindrical housing which defines a longitudinal axis and has an interior compartment. A guidance controller is housed within the mid-body for controlling flight. A plurality of wings are connected to the housing and each of the wings is movable into a deployed position to provide guidance during flight. The mid-body has an access window which facilitates communication between the interior compartment of the housing and an external environment. A normally door covers the access window, but when the door is moved, relative to the access window, into an open position, communication between the interior compartment and the external environment is established. An optical sensor is accommodated within the interior compartment and the optical sensor, once the door is moved relative to the access window, can view the external environment and supply data to the guidance controller for controlling operation of the plurality of wings during flight.Type: GrantFiled: August 1, 2017Date of Patent: July 9, 2019Assignee: BAE Systems Informaticn and Electronic Systems Integration Inc.Inventors: Michael J. Choiniere, Jason H. Batchelder, Peter J. Evans, Gregory R. Hallerman

Patent number: 10291865Abstract: A scanning sensor system disclosed. The scanning sensor system induces a sensing element array and multiple analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The sensing element array includes a group of pixels organized in a row and column configuration. During each read cycle, each pixel in an odd column of a row x is selectively connected to a corresponding one of the ADCs that is associated with the odd column pixels, while each pixel in an even column of a row x+(N/2)+1 is selectively connected to a corresponding one of ADCs that is associated with the even column pixels, wherein x is an integer and N is the total number of rows in the sensing element array.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 2016Date of Patent: May 14, 2019Assignee: BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc.Inventor: Peter J. Evans

Publication number: 20190075456Abstract: The system and method of wireless pairing using quick response (QR) codes containing encryption keys and pairing parameters. Detection of the pairing information by a wireless access device permits quick authentication and pairing between the wireless access device and a wireless sensor, or server, containing the QR code.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 7, 2017Publication date: March 7, 2019Inventors: Peter J. EVANS, William P. McDONNELL

Patent number: 10086110Abstract: One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a method for forming a multipurpose membrane in vivo. One step of the method includes obtaining a blood component. Next, a vacuum assembly is operated to remove substantially all of the liquid from the blood component and thereby form a concentrated, substantially dehydrated blood component. The substantially dehydrated blood component is then formed into a non-coagulated injectable composition and administered to a wound of a subject.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 2013Date of Patent: October 2, 2018Assignee: The Cleveland Clinic FoundationInventors: Peter J. Evans, Jim Trickett

Publication number: 20140277191Abstract: A fastening device for compressing first and second bones together includes a first member configured to extend entirely through the first bone and having a shaft that includes a distal threaded portion and an unthreaded portion. The threaded portion has an outer diameter that is not larger than the diameter of the unthreaded portion. A second member has a first threaded portion for securing to the second bone and a second threaded portion for engaging the threaded portion of the first member while the first member extends entirely through the first bone to secure the first and second members together and compress the first and second bones.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 11, 2014Publication date: September 18, 2014Applicant: THE CLEVELAND CLINIC FOUNDATIONInventors: Peter J. Patent number: 4722553Abstract: A cheque book assembly comprises carrier leaves arranged one above another and bound together at their right hand ends. Cheques making up a sub-set are bound detachably to each carrier leaf at their left hand ends with a staggered overlap between the cheques. A pressure sensitive strip causes an inscription on an elongated field of a first cheque to be reproduced on a corresponding field on the first carrier leaf to provide a journal entry for the first cheque. Other pressure sensitive strips cause inscriptions on the other cheques to be reproduced on other fields of the carrier leaf, these fields being offset from one another by the stagger of the cheques to form a journal for the sub-set of cheques.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 1986Date of Patent: February 2, 1988Assignee: Kalamazoo plcInventor: Peter J. Patent number: 4168488Abstract: This specification describes image rotation hardware for allowing the displaying of an image stored in digital form in other than its originally stored orientation. In this hardware a word-organized image buffer stores a digital representation of a full image with each picture element (pel) of the full image being represented by a bit within the buffer. The buffer is divided into a plurality of square sections each storing a portion or subimage of the full image. Each section is n.times.n bits in size where n is the number of bits in a word stored in the buffer. The contents of each square section of the buffer can be transferred into an n.times.n storage array with first word organization, and then transferred back into the buffer with second word organization such that the subimage stored by the square section is rotated through 90.degree..Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 1978Date of Patent: September 18, 1979Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventor: Peter J.
