    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a new method and new apparatus for applying fibrous reinforcements to a thermoformed plastic sheet comprising a base bearing, an upper support having a gutter, a plastic membrane, and a seal bounding the gutter so that when air is drawn from the outlet and at least partial vacuum is formed between the membrane and the surface.
