  • Publication number: 20240126690
Abstract: A memory system includes a memory array having a plurality of memory cells; and a controller coupled to the memory array, the controller configured to: designate a storage mode for a target set of memory cells based on valid data in a source block, wherein the target set of memory cells are configured with a capacity to store up to a maximum number of bits per cell, and the storage mode is for dynamically configuring the target set of memory cells in as cache memory that stores a number of bits less per cell than the corresponding maximum capacity.

  • Patent number: 4726902
Abstract: The cyclone degritter particularly suited for household use for receiving, degritting and discharging a water feed flow. The cyclone degritter comprises a pressurized housing containing a cyclonic degritter cartridge with a plurality of small hydro-cyclones arranged within a shell for collecting grit and an overflow vessel for directing clarified liquid to the housing overflow connection. In one form there is a bleed line from the top region of the shell or grit pot to the overflow for providing substantially improved recovery efficiency. In another form the cyclone degritter is provided with primary and secondary cyclone degritters with the primary set being used under conditions of low water flow while both primary and secondary sets are used for increased water flow.

  • Patent number: 4661455
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel apparatus for culturing mammalian cells, whereby a plastic housing encasing a double membrane bag or bags supplies nutrients and oxygen to mammalian cells for propagation thereof. The double membrane bag contains a first bag formed of a microfiltration or ultrafiltration membrane disposed within a second membrane bag formed of a liquid impermeable, gas permeable membrane. This apparatus has a first chamber containing oxygen, a second chamber containing cells and a third chamber containing nutrients.
