    Abstract: In a CMOS integrated circuit card configuration operating upon a received data input stream and having a common power buss for the individual integrated circuits thereof, the invention comprises the connection of a power pin of all such individual integrated circuits directly to the power buss, except for the integrated circuit to which the data input stream is applied, wherein a diode of predetermined forward voltage drop is employed—having its anode connected to the power buss and its cathode connected to its associated power pin.

    Abstract: A secondary protection device for protecting a circuit. The device includes a first positive temperature coefficient (PTC) resistor, a bidirectional zener diode and a second PTC resistor connected in series across input terminals. Output terminals are connected across the bidirectional zener diode for providing a protected output to the circuit. A second zener diode is coupled between one end of the bidirectional zener diode and a ground potential for limiting an output voltage to the circuit.

    Abstract: An enclosure containing heat generating electrical components is provided with exterior heat fins and is enclosed within a perforated cover. The heat fins are generally planar and parallel to define vertical channels between adjacent pairs of fins. The fins are formed with a plurality of aligned notches to define a plurality of horizontal channels. The perforations in the cover are arrayed along a plurality of horizontal lines, with at least one of the horizontal lines overlying each of the horizontal channels.
